Securitas USA is currently hiring Professional Security Officers for multiple sites in Illinois. This position is ideal for individuals with a military or law enforcement background, though all qualified candidates are encouraged to apply. As a key member of the team, you’ll ensure the safety and security of client premises, personnel, and visitors through professional patrol and monitoring services.
Key Responsibilities

Patrol client sites both indoors and outdoors to ensure security and safety.

Secure facility entrances and control access.

Identify and report safety hazards and suspicious activities.

Respond to emergencies and de-escalate conflicts.

Provide clear and detailed written incident and witness reports.

Interact professionally with client staff and visitors.
Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.

High school diploma or GED required.

Valid driver’s license required.

Must pass background check and drug screening.

Good physical condition and ability to patrol for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.

Basic computer and technology proficiency.
Preferred Qualifications
