Job Title: Product & Pricing Manager
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Product & Pricing Manager to spearhead the BYD and Polestar product portfolios in the UAE. This role is critical to ensuring successful product launches, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving sustainable growth in the competitive electric vehicle (EV) market.
As the authentic voice of the customer, you will align product strategies with market needs, financial objectives, and brand growth targets. You will collaborate closely with OEMs, sales operations, and cross-functional teams to optimize product lifecycles, pricing models, and market competitiveness.
Key Responsibilities:

Define target market segments and key customer profiles for each vehicle product line

Oversee the entire product lifecycle, adapting strategies to evolving customer demands, technologies, and competitive dynamics

Develop effective pricing models and product strategies that maximize profitability while ensuring competitiveness

Conduct market analysis to shape product features, positioning, and pricing strategies aligned with company objectives

Optimize portfolio profitability through strategic sales volume, cost-to-value offerings, and VME allocation

Use pricing tools to support accurate and effective pricing decisions
-
Recommend product, pricing, and promotional strategies for launches, as well as corrective actions for inventory challenges

Build strong OEM relationships to represent UAE customer needs and influence product/brand strategies

Manage OEM inquiries, ensuring timely responses and alignment with business goals

Collaborate with sales, demand, and supply teams to secure an optimal order mix and lifecycle execution
Required Skills & Expertise:

Proven experience in product and pricing management within the automotive industry

Strong financial, analytical, and communication skills
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP
-
Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and deliver actionable reports
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or related field

Minimum 8 years’ experience in the automotive industry, with at least 5 years in product and pricing roles and team management exposure

Experience working with OEMs or distributors, ideally in GCC or international markets
-
Strong technical knowledge of vehicles, with EV experience highly desirable
-
Proven ability to interpret complex information and develop innovative, process-driven solutions
