The Cigna Group is looking for a Product Owner to manage and optimize the full product lifecycle in the health insurance industry. This role requires balancing business priorities with internal capabilities, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous product and process improvements. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health insurance regulations, agile methodologies, and product management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of health insurance products, ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory requirements.

• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.

• Maintain and prioritize a product backlog in collaboration with technology scrum teams.

• Work closely with operations, compliance, marketing, and IT teams for successful product delivery.

• Ensure product features align with the company’s strategic direction.

• Balance competing demands and make data-driven decisions for product improvements.

• Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

• Be the expert on business-as-usual (BAU) systems and processes while driving future enhancements.

• Define and track product success metrics (KPIs) to ensure products meet business goals.

Qualifications & Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Insurance, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager in the health insurance or healthcare industry.

• Strong knowledge of health insurance processes, regulations, and systems.

• Familiarity with Agile methodologies, SAFE Framework, and backlog management.

• Experience balancing business needs with internal development capabilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across business and technology teams.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

• Experience with product management tools such as JIRA.

• Understanding of customer journey mapping, UX/UI design, and emerging trends in HealthTech.
