Azizi Developments is looking for a Procurement Engineer (MEP) to manage procurement and sourcing activities in the Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) category. The role involves developing strategies, negotiating contracts, managing supplier relationships, ensuring cost efficiency, and maintaining quality standards for MEP materials, equipment, and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sourcing & Procurement: Research, identify, and evaluate suppliers for MEP materials and equipment, both locally and internationally. Lead procurement efforts and collaborate with teams to select suppliers and negotiate terms.

• Supplier Relationship Management: Maintain strong supplier relationships, conduct performance reviews, and ensure compliance with contracts.

• Cost Management & Budgeting: Analyze costs, identify opportunities for reductions, and manage budgets for MEP procurement.

• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure procured materials meet quality standards and comply with regulations. Collaborate with quality control teams to implement assurance processes.

• Category Strategy Development: Develop and implement category strategies based on market analysis and company objectives, aiming for cost savings and process improvements.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and finance teams to align strategies with project goals and timelines.

Qualifications:

• Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • Proven experience in procurement or category management within the MEP industry.

  • Strong understanding of MEP materials, equipment, and suppliers.

  • Proficient in procurement software and the Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
