Barclays is seeking an experienced Private Banker to join its expanding Private Banking team in Dubai. This is a prime opportunity to manage and grow a portfolio of HNW and UHNW clients, delivering bespoke wealth management, banking, credit, and investment solutions in the UAE. You’ll work with a team of seasoned bankers under a newly appointed MD, contributing to Barclays’ growth ambitions in the region.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth (HNW/UHNW) clients and serve as their primary financial advisor.

• Deliver tailored banking, credit, and investment solutions aligned with clients’ financial goals and risk appetite.

• Conduct regular reviews of client portfolios and advise on wealth structuring, succession, and offshore strategies.

• Identify and onboard new clients through strategic networking and referrals.

• Attend high-profile financial events in the UAE and build strong external and internal relationships.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and risk guidelines in managing client portfolios.

• Provide expert advice on global market trends and investment opportunities.

• Serve as a subject matter expert for banking products, investment offerings, and complex financial queries.

✅ Required Skills and Experience

• Proven experience as a Private Banker in the UAE, managing client portfolios over USD 300M.

• Excellent relationship management skills and a successful track record of working with HNW clients.

• Deep understanding of global economics, market trends, and competitor activities.

• Strong technical knowledge in investment advisory, portfolio management, trust concepts, and financial planning.

• Ability to adapt to changing regulations and digital banking tools.
