Aldar Education is currently hiring a Primary Teacher for Noya British School on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, with an immediate start. Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Learning

• Deliver inspiring, high-quality lessons aligned with the British curriculum

• Plan and differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all learners

• Motivate and support students through creative and imaginative teaching

• Create a positive and engaging learning environment using attractive displays and effective classroom management

• Regularly assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

Assessment & Data

• Track student progress using Target Tracker

• Use data to inform planning and provide interventions where necessary

• Provide detailed, constructive feedback to students and parents during meetings and conferences

Behaviour & Classroom Management

• Implement the school’s behaviour policy effectively

• Promote a culture of mutual respect, self-control, and independence

• Serve as a positive role model for students in conduct and communication

Wider School Contribution

• Participate in curriculum teams and school events

• Lead one extracurricular activity (ECA) per term

• Build strong relationships with parents, colleagues, and external professionals

• Contribute positively to the ethos and development of the school

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject

• PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification (attested documents required)

Experience:

• 1–2 years of relevant teaching experience

• Prior experience working with students for whom English is an additional language is preferred

Additional Details:
