We are looking for a Policies and Procedures Expert to join our team on a 1-year contract. The role involves developing, reviewing, and maintaining organizational policies, procedures, and governance frameworks, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of public sector regulations and processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Policy Development & Review: Design, implement, and periodically review company policies and procedures to ensure relevance, accuracy, and compliance with laws and regulations.

Standardization & Optimization: Develop standardized templates, frameworks, and workflows to streamline policy and procedure documentation.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all policies and procedures align with local, national, and international regulations and industry standards.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, legal teams, risk management, and compliance units to align policies with organizational objectives.

Training & Awareness: Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on new and updated policies and procedures.

Gap Analysis & Auditing: Assess existing policies and procedures, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to strengthen governance frameworks.

Documentation & Version Control: Maintain an organized repository of policies, track revisions, and ensure timely updates as per regulatory or operational changes.

Risk Management: Evaluate potential risks related to policy implementation and propose mitigation strategies.

Benchmarking: Stay updated on best practices in policy management by researching industry trends and regulatory updates.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Public Administration, or a related field.

10+ years of experience in policy development, governance, compliance, or risk management, specifically within a government organization.

Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks, industry standards, and compliance requirements.

Experience in developing policies and procedures from scratch in a government company.

Proficiency in writing policies and procedures in both Arabic and English.

Experience in conducting audits, assessments, and policy evaluations.
