CareerLink HR is recruiting a highly qualified Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Consultant to join a leading hospital in Dubai. This full-time role is ideal for a specialist dedicated to diagnosing, managing, and treating patients with functional impairments caused by injury, illness, or disability. The consultant will play a vital role in restoring patients’ physical function and enhancing their quality of life through a multidisciplinary healthcare approach.

Key Responsibilities:

• Examine and assess patients requiring physical therapy interventions.

• Diagnose pain and physical impairments resulting from injuries, diseases, or disabling conditions.

• Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to patient needs.

• Recommend and perform medical procedures including disc decompression, prolotherapy, and vertebroplasty to alleviate pain and improve function.

• Lead a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals such as physical therapists and occupational therapists to optimize patient outcomes.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

• Provide adaptive tools and strategies to enhance patients’ physical functioning and wellbeing.

• Counsel patients and families, assisting them in adapting to lifestyle changes.

• Offer long-term support and advice to patients receiving ongoing care.

• Conduct clinical research to advance treatment options for injuries and disabling conditions.

Requirements:

• Medical degree with specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

• Valid current medical license from the country of origin.

• Minimum of 3 years post-specialization experience in PM&R.

• Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.

• Strong clinical and communication skills.
