Aldar Education, the leading education group in Abu Dhabi, is seeking People & Culture Assistants to support its expanding network of owned and operated schools across the UAE. The People & Culture Assistant plays a vital role in supporting HR operations, onboarding, compliance, performance, and employee lifecycle processes.
Key Responsibilities:
General HR Support:

Assist the HR Officer in all HR-related tasks within the school

Provide effective support for onboarding, employee inquiries, and exit processes

Maintain accurate digital and physical employment records
Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
-
Conduct pre-employment reference checks and police clearances
-
Coordinate staff onboarding and induction processes
-
Manage ADEK pass applications, work visa processing, and staff documentation
-
Liaise with IT and other departments for new staff system access and ID cards
Performance Enablement:
-
Support probation and performance review cycles
-
Coordinate performance appraisal processes and assist senior leadership in promoting a high-performance culture
HR Operations:
-
Handle staff health insurance applications, renewals, and cancellations

Manage time and attendance systems and reporting
-
Process employee exits and finalize settlements in coordination with payroll and operations

Ensure HR systems are up-to-date with accurate staffing records
Skills & Qualifications:
-
Minimum: Diploma or degree-level qualification
-
1–2 years of HR or recruitment experience (preferably in a service-related industry)

Strong IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook)

Exceptional organizational and communication skills

Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus)

Experience with UAE government HR processes (HAAD, immigration) is advantageous

Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
