Job Title: Operations and Sales Manager 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Operations and Sales Manager to lead the sales and operations functions for our growing retail and wholesale perfume and cosmetics business in the UAE. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, optimizing operational performance, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences across both online and offline sales channels.

As the Operations and Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s presence in the UAE, participating in strategic business setup activities, overseeing operational functions, and fostering collaboration with internal teams and external partners. You will oversee sales strategies, procurement, distribution, customer service, and inventory management while guiding and coaching a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute operational strategies, sales plans, and business models across the company’s retail and wholesale locations.

  • Manage procurement, product distribution, and brand management activities, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal stock levels.

  • Standardize sales processes, equipment sourcing, and best practices across all retail and wholesale locations.

  • Lead and motivate sales teams, ensuring continuous training and development to achieve high performance.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with mall and location management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.

  • Oversee daily sales analysis, inventory management, and ensure all targets are met or exceeded.

  • Manage the department budget, ensuring financial objectives are met within allocated parameters.

  • Evaluate and optimize operational workflows, simplifying processes to enhance efficiency and reduce workload for stores.

  • Develop policies and procedures to ensure smooth operations of all sales, production, and distribution functions.

  • Drive customer satisfaction by mentoring sales staff, ensuring quality service, and addressing performance issues.

  • Lead recruitment, training, and talent development for sales and operations staff.

  • Oversee the setup and operation of new stores, managing projects related to store openings, relocations, and renovations.

  • Collaborate across departments (Business Development, Marketing, Finance, HR, etc.) to support company growth and operations.

  • Set and track operational and sales KPIs, ensuring all objectives are consistently exceeded.

  • Provide regular sales reports and insights, including product performance, sales trends, and market comparisons.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).

  • At least 13 years of experience in retail, wholesale, and online business operations, with significant managerial responsibility.

  • Proven experience in retail and wholesale sales within the perfume and cosmetics industry.

  • Strong financial knowledge and ability to manage budgets and resources effectively.

  • In-depth understanding of UAE market dynamics, locations, and relevant legislation.

  • Analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and people management skills.

  • Strong time management, conflict resolution, and organizational abilities.

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and overseeing store operations.

  • Ability to work proactively, set clear goals, and drive business growth.
