The Office Attendant will provide essential administrative and operational support to the College of Arts and Sciences, specifically within the Dean’s Office at the American University of Sharjah. This role involves clerical duties, visitor assistance, office coordination, and event support.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and assist all visitors to the Dean’s Office.

Handle visitor inquiries, correspondence, and basic information requests.

Monitor and manage office supplies, pantry items, and equipment use.

Coordinate maintenance and repairs of office equipment.
-
Handle mail, phone calls, emails, and document processing (scanning, photocopying).
-
Support the setup and logistics of events.
-
Run errands and carry out general clerical tasks as needed.
-
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Dean or Assistant to the Dean.
Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience in a similar office support role.

Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.

Attention to detail and accuracy.

Team player with a flexible work attitude.
