Join one of the world’s most advanced infrastructure teams at Google as a Network Implementation Engineer – Edge Metro based in Dubai. You’ll play a critical role in the deployment and support of Google’s global network infrastructure—supporting design, build, and maintenance efforts that keep billions of users connected.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field OR equivalent practical experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience with:

  • Fiber types and their applications

  • Physical fiber characteristics

  • Standard testing tools (e.g., OSA, BERT, OTDR)

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong collaboration and decision-making experience across technical teams

• Ability to lead and communicate effectively with local and global stakeholders

• Fluent English communication skills (spoken and written)

• Customer-facing experience in network operations or infrastructure engineering

Responsibilities

• Partner with Design, Deployment, Peering, and Planning teams to deliver end-to-end connectivity

• Translate common network solutions into standardized Bill of Materials (BOMs) and design packages

• Support execution of network deployments across multiple global sites

• Create and update deployment documentation (DPKs), and maintain accurate records

• Troubleshoot and execute capacity workflows for edge devices across new and existing nodes

• Support automation efforts to streamline deployment operations
