Blue Diamond General Trading LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior MEP Procurement Engineer to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement within the real estate or construction sectors, with a minimum of 7 years of experience in Dubai or the Gulf countries. This role will focus on managing procurement processes, vendor relations, and contract negotiations to support ongoing and upcoming real estate projects, particularly in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and civil works procurement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy Development: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives.

• Material Specification Review: Review and approve specifications and quantities of requested materials, ensuring compliance with project requirements.

• Procurement Process Management: Manage the entire procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiations, and contract execution.

• Timely Delivery & Compliance: Ensure the timely delivery of materials and services in compliance with project schedules and budgets.

• Contract & Supplier Monitoring: Evaluate and monitor contracts to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and supplier performance.

• Market Research: Conduct market research to stay informed about market trends and emerging technologies in construction, MEP, and real estate sectors.

• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers and other department heads to ensure optimal coordination and support.

• MEP & Civil Works Procurement: Oversee procurement for MEP and civil works, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a team of procurement staff.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, specifically in the construction industry in Dubai or other Gulf countries.

• Proven expertise in MEP and civil works procurement.

• Strong understanding of local regulations and compliance requirements in the UAE.

• Proven track record of managing significant budgets and achieving cost reductions while maintaining quality.

• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to manage multiple stakeholders.

• Proficient in MS Office and relevant procurement software.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
