ALEC is looking for an experienced MEP Coordinator to oversee and coordinate Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works at one of their high-profile construction sites. The role involves managing MEP installations, ensuring safety, cost control, and timely completion of the works. The coordinator will be responsible for liaising with various departments and external authorities, handling design discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate all MEP works on-site

• Oversee cost control in collaboration with the Commercial department

• Resolve design discrepancies and facilitate timely information flow for construction

• Ensure satisfactory installation, completion, testing, and commissioning of MEP services

• Coordinate MEP design and associated requirements with ALEC’s Design Department

• Oversee documentation and inspections for MEP works (QA, WIR)

• Assist the Project Planner with programming, cost, and time assessments related to MEP works

• Coordinate temporary MEP services and resolve clashes with other site activities

• Ensure MEP Subcontractor compliance with contract and program requirements

• Liaise with authorities for MEP-related site issues and inspections

• Contribute MEP-related information to project reports

• Review and ensure up-to-date MEP Design Documents for the team

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in construction and MEP works

• Preferably degree/diploma qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing Engineering

• Strong knowledge in at least one area: Mechanical, Electrical, or Plumbing

• Experience with MEP design coordination, site supervision, and documentation management
