The Manufacturing Coordinator at LIPTON Teas and Infusions will be responsible for managing the safety, quality, and operational efficiency of the factory production lines. This role involves overseeing SHEQ standards, coordinating production activities, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, food safety, and environmental regulations. It’s an on-site, full-time position designed for someone with experience in manufacturing and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment, and Quality):

• Implement and adhere to health, safety, food safety, and environmental procedures.

• Contribute to reducing environmental impacts, including optimizing eco-efficient operations.

• Monitor product quality and promptly report faults, taking corrective actions as necessary.

• Lead emergency response efforts and implement preventive measures after incidents.

Operations:

• Ensure balanced manpower utilization according to skills and flexibility.

• Conduct handovers between shifts and update Factory Management Operating System (FMOS).

• Perform SAP transactions relevant to full operations from blending to finished goods.

• Ensure availability and accuracy of materials and escalate any deviations.

• Implement training programs for operators and contractors.

• Lead 5S and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) implementation on the manufacturing lines.

• Monitor and take corrective actions for safety, quality, and operational non-conformances.

Collaboration and Continuous Improvement:

• Coordinate with other departments for trials, manpower support, and operational requests.

• Engage in continuous improvement projects and Kaizen initiatives to reduce production losses.

• Perform escalations to the Manufacturing Manager about non-compliance issues.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment with high safety and quality standards.

• Familiarity with teabag production technologies (Perfecta, IMA) is an advantage.

• Collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
