Job Role:
American Hospital Dubai is hiring a Locum Resubmission Officer for a temporary, on-site role. The successful candidate will manage resubmissions of denied insurance claims, coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, analyze denial trends, and support administrative functions in the Insurance Department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Resubmit denied claims based on denial analysis and assigned work

• Coordinate responses to queries from payers and internal departments

• Review payer rejections and assign appropriate codes based on physician inputs

• Compile reconciliation sheets (quarterly/semi-annually) and follow up with payers

• Monitor and analyze denial trends; report findings to the Supervisor

• Provide feedback to departments involved in claim processing

• Train and support new joiners in the resubmission process

• Ensure timely and accurate communication with relevant stakeholders

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree (medical background preferred)

• 0–2 years of experience in the insurance department

• Knowledge of claims resubmission and familiarity with spreadsheets and software modules

• Understanding of CPT (Current Procedural Terminology) coding

• Experience with Health Information Systems (HIS) is a plus

• Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written)
