LEAMS Education is looking for an experienced and passionate School Librarian to join our team immediately. This role requires a dedicated professional who can manage a modern school library, foster a love for reading, integrate technology into learning, and support both students and teachers with high-quality educational resources. Candidates on a spouse visa are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Library Management & Organization

Maintain an updated and accessible collection of books, e-resources, and reference materials.

Develop and implement library policies, procedures, and borrowing systems.

Classify, catalog, and label all new materials according to library standards.

Keep the library welcoming, organized, and conducive to learning.

Assist students in developing research and information literacy skills.

Support teachers by providing instructional resources aligned with the curriculum.

Guide students in using library databases and digital learning tools.
Technology & Digital Resources

Maintain and update digital library systems, including e-books and online research tools.

Teach students to access and evaluate digital information effectively.

Integrate technology into library services to support modern learning methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Library Science, Information Science, or related field.

OR Bachelor’s/Master’s in English with experience in teaching and managing a library.

Proven school librarian experience, preferably within the UAE.

Strong knowledge of library management systems and digital research tools.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
-
Exceptional command of English.

Familiarity with UAE educational policies and curriculum is an advantage.
