Job Description:
WeLearn is seeking a Legal Consultant to provide proactive legal support across the organization, particularly in matters related to content creators, contracts, compliance, and internal advisory. This is a hybrid, full-time role based in Dubai, designed for someone experienced, independent, and ready to take ownership in a high-growth, high-energy environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Creator Relations & Escalations: Act as the primary legal contact for creators; manage complex situations and provide strategic de-escalation.

• Legal Document Management: Oversee all internal legal documentation, contracts, and addenda.

• Internal Legal Support: Provide legal advice across departments including HR matters, internal brainstorming sessions, and ad hoc advisory.

• External Counsel Coordination: Manage communication between internal teams and external legal advisors.

• Compliance & Best Practices: Establish legal best practices, ensure legal frameworks are in place, and educate internal teams on compliance.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience: 3–4 years minimum in a legal role with capacity to lead independently.

• Industry Knowledge:

  • Must-Have: Strong understanding of the creator economy, digital marketing, social media, and intellectual property law.

  • Nice-to-Have: Familiarity with compliance, advertising, promotions, copyright, and trademark laws.

• Legal Expertise in Dubai: Strong knowledge of Dubai/UAE legal frameworks preferred.

• Work Style: Adaptable, able to manage fluctuating workloads including urgent tasks and occasional weekend requirements.
