Role Overview:
As a Legal Advisor – Risk & Contract Management, you will play a key role in managing legal risk, contract negotiations, and compliance across Deloitte’s wide range of engagements. You will provide strategic legal counsel, collaborate with business leaders, and help structure transactions to safeguard the firm’s interests while delivering exceptional client service.

Key Responsibilities:

Legal Advisory:

• Review projects across all lifecycle stages to assess legal and reputational risks.

• Advise leadership teams, functions, and industries on legal risk management and mitigation strategies.

• Provide guidance on contract management, risk analysis, and deal structuring.

• Interpret complex legal documents and communicate implications effectively.

Contract Negotiation and Management:

• Manage the entire contractual process, from opportunity pursuit to engagement close-out.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial contracts (e.g., MSAs, SOWs, NDAs, amendments).

• Support deal teams in understanding contractual obligations and risks.

• Coordinate with internal legal, engagement teams, and quality risk functions.

Risk Management:

• Identify, classify, and monitor risks associated with services and products.

• Implement mitigation strategies to address identified risks.

• Protect Deloitte’s interests, intellectual property, and confidential information.

• Present contract summaries and deal propositions to leadership.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bilingual proficiency (Arabic preferred).

• Based in Dubai, UAE.

• Licensed attorney, solicitor, or barrister.

• 6–7 years post-qualification experience within the UAE.

• Degree: LLB, LLB (Hons), JD, or LLM.

• Background in a reputable legal practice (Big 4 consulting experience preferred).
