Nord Anglia International School Dubai, part of the world’s leading premium schools group, is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to provide specialist 1:1 and small group support for primary students. The role focuses on delivering targeted interventions for students with special educational needs (SEN) or learning difficulties, ensuring they achieve their full academic potential within the framework of the UK National Curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalised 1:1 and small group learning support for primary-aged students.

• Deliver specialist SEN interventions, including SNIP and Nessy programmes.

• Support students with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and ADHD.

• Assist in planning and delivering targeted lessons in core subjects.

• Collaborate with the Head of Inclusion, Primary Inclusion Team, and classroom teachers to create and implement Personalised Education Plans (PEPs).

• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate with parents.

• Utilise online learning tools such as MS Teams, Zoom, and Seesaw.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Learning Support Assistant or primary teacher.

• Experience supporting SEN students within the British curriculum at primary level.

• Specialist SEN qualifications and relevant training.

• Strong knowledge of core subject teaching strategies.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for education and commitment to continuous professional development.

• High standard of spoken and written English.
