Miral Experiences is seeking a detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for laundering, pressing, and ensuring the quality of costume pieces used in live entertainment productions. The Laundry Attendant will work closely with the costuming team, show performers, and other members of the Entertainment department to maintain high-quality standards and support the execution of events and shows.

Responsibilities:

• Launder, wash, steam, and press costume pieces and prop costumes used in the live entertainment program.

• Perform quality control checks on all costumes and costume props daily.

• Ensure all costume pieces are returned to the correct locations in the costume facility.

• Conduct daily checks of green rooms for leftover costume pieces, hangers, and other items.

• Repair costumes on-site using hand sewing and send larger repairs to the shop.

• Write alterations/repair tags and track the progress of costume repairs.

• Participate in special events and public relations activities involving costumes and performers.

• Maintain accurate costume inventory levels and ensure the upkeep of laundry facilities.

• Provide assistance to performers with costume needs during shows or appearances.

• Collaborate with stage management to resolve any costuming-related issues.

• Report any costume-related concerns to management immediately.

• Assist with costuming distribution systems, including checking in and out costumes and delivering costumes to green rooms.

• Attend department meetings and assist with administrative tasks as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Skills Required:

• Higher secondary or equivalent education.

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in a related role.

• Proficient in computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Strong command of English (reading, writing, and speaking).

• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail.

Desirable Qualifications:

• Associate degree in theatre or fine arts.

• Certification or higher qualification in the textile industry.

• 2 years of experience in a laundry facility or hotel uniform facility.

• 2 years of experience in theme parks, theatrical productions, or cruise ships.

• Previous experience working with performers and in costume repair or manufacturing.

• Knowledge of fabric types and their care.
