A leading Tier 1 main contractor in Dubai is seeking a Junior Planning Engineer to join its dynamic team working on high-value interior fit-out and civil construction projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to build their career in project planning while contributing to landmark developments in the UAE.

The role is open for immediate joining on a 3–6 month outsourced contract basis via J10 Consulting, with the opportunity for a permanent staff position based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and maintaining detailed project schedules, including baseline and progress updates

• Track project timelines, monitor budget adherence, and report potential delays or risks

• Support in resource planning, ensuring efficient use of manpower, materials, and equipment

• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders for smooth coordination and communication

• Assist in risk identification and development of mitigation strategies

• Generate and submit regular progress reports including scheduling updates, variance analysis, and KPIs

• Utilize planning software such as Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project to support the senior planning team

Candidate Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in planning and scheduling, particularly in interior fit-out or civil projects

• Working knowledge of Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent software

• Basic understanding of project controls, scheduling tools, and reporting techniques

• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

• Effective communication and coordination abilities

• Self-driven with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment

Salary Range:

AED 6,000 – 10,000 per month (inclusive of fixed allowances)
