Etihad Rail Operating Companies is seeking an Internal Audit Manager – Operations to plan, lead, and deliver operational audits across the group. The role involves assessing risks, auditing logistics and transportation operations, and advising on enhancing controls within the organization. The successful candidate should have extensive experience in auditing, particularly in transportation, logistics, and related sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and update risk-based audit plans, define scope, and present them for approval.

• Lead audits across the group, ensuring compliance with audit methodology and preparing reports with actionable recommendations.

• Manage and support internal and external resources to ensure timely delivery of audits.

• Perform special reviews and investigations, often managing multiple projects simultaneously.

• Implement innovative solutions like automation, data analytics, and continuous controls monitoring to enhance audit effectiveness.

• Collaborate with management to implement audit recommendations and monitor progress.

• Foster a culture of governance, ethics, and continuous improvement across the organization.

• Provide advisory services on governance, internal controls, and risk-related queries.

• Present audit reports, summaries, and progress reports to senior management.

• Stay updated on trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in internal auditing.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Accounting, Engineering, or related field (Postgraduate degree preferred).

• A minimum of 10 years of relevant internal audit experience, with a focus on operations, preferably in rail, logistics, aviation, or port operations.

• Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or CA are preferable.
