APCO, a global advisory and advocacy firm, is looking for a Public Affairs Intern to join their Dubai team. Founded in 1984, APCO provides strategic advice to corporations, foundations, and governments, helping them navigate complex challenges across sectors such as healthcare, energy, technology, and infrastructure.

The intern will assist the team with various tasks including research, writing, preparing presentations, and providing administrative support to healthcare clients. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in public affairs and policy development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct research and provide policy analysis to identify key legislative, political, and economic developments

• Assist in preparing policy reports and PowerPoint presentations for healthcare clients

• Support the account team with administrative tasks such as preparing meeting agendas, minutes, and progress reports

• Handle ad-hoc assignments as requested by the Director

• Monitor and track relevant policy, legislative, and political developments

• Provide general administrative support to the team, including drafting documents and presentations

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Policy, International Relations, Political Science, or Public Health

• Strong writing, communication, organizational, and time management skills

• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

• Fluency in Arabic and English (both written and spoken)

• Analytical and research skills

• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
