Role Summary:
UHS is seeking a Health Care Assistant for the Female Ward. The role involves providing direct support to the nursing team, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care quality in accordance with international standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist nurses in delivering basic patient care aligned with MOH, JCI, and FDON standards.

• Ensure patient dignity while performing duties such as repositioning, transport, feeding, and bed-making.

• Support with patient mobility, meal tray handling, specimen transport, and post-procedure cleanup.

• Accompany patients for diagnostic procedures (e.g., X-rays, ECGs) and assist physicians during physical exams.

• Participate in quality improvement programs, safety protocols, and mandatory training.

• Monitor supply stocks and maintain a clean, safe patient environment.

• Uphold patient confidentiality and report incidents as per hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of nursing or healthcare-related experience.

• Proficient in verbal and written English.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma in Nursing (desirable).

• BLS certification.

• Previous outpatient department (OPD) or UAE experience.

• Experience working in a JCIA-accredited facility.
