Head of Partnership Sales, APAC & MENA

We are currently seeking a results-driven and strategic Head of Partnership Sales, APAC & MENA to lead our partnership sales efforts in two of the fastest-growing regions in world football. Based in Abu Dhabi, this is a full-time, permanent opportunity to join a dynamic team at the heart of one of the most ambitious football organizations in the world.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales Leadership & Delivery:

  • Lead and manage a team of four Partnership Sales Executives to exceed annual revenue targets.

  • Identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities across all CFG properties in the APAC & MENA regions.

  • Oversee and drive personal and team revenue pipelines with strategic foresight.

  • Develop compelling sales presentations, proposals, and partner strategies to drive value.

  • Innovate and execute creative initiatives to maximize partner engagement and diversify income streams.

2. Networking & Relationship Management:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the sports industry across APAC and MENA.

  • Build long-term partnerships with global and regional brands, marketing agencies, media outlets, and federations.

3. Brand Development & Strategic Support:

  • Work cross-functionally to design creative partnership solutions that grow CFG’s fanbase and brand presence.

  • Support strategic business development initiatives such as Telecom Partnerships and Industrial Sponsorships.

4. Reporting & Strategy:

  • Track and report on sales performance, revenue generation, and pipeline development.

  • Align team objectives with CFG’s global commercial strategy.

  • Analyze market trends to refine and optimize sales strategies and maximize regional impact.

What We’re Looking For:

We are looking for a motivated and accomplished professional with strong leadership abilities and a proven track record in partnership sales and sponsorship. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing remote teams, especially within the sports or entertainment industries.

Key Qualifications & Skills:

  • Extensive experience in partnership sales with an emphasis on sponsorship and lead generation.

  • Proven success in managing and mentoring remote sales teams.

  • Experience in rights-holder or club environments, with a solid understanding of sports sponsorship contracts.

  • Strong understanding of the football ecosystem, particularly in the APAC and MENA regions.

  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales systems such as Salesforce.

  • Commercially savvy with the ability to navigate complex, fast-paced environments.

  • Flexibility to work non-traditional hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
