Uber is seeking a dynamic, results-driven leader to take charge as the Head of Driver in the UAE. In this pivotal leadership role, you will spearhead the strategy and execution to optimize Uber’s driver and fleet ecosystem. Your mission is to ensure a thriving, reliable supply base that supports Uber’s growth and success in the region. You will be the champion of the earner experience, building trust, maximizing earnings, and fostering strong partnerships with both independent drivers and fleet operators.
This role is crucial at the intersection of marketplace dynamics, product strategy, and operational execution. It requires strong analytical skills, excellent stakeholder management, and deep understanding of driver and fleet needs.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement comprehensive supply strategies for individual drivers and fleet operators in the UAE.

Lead fleet supply management including acquisition, onboarding, performance monitoring, and relationship management.

Optimize driver experience and lead teams responsible for continuous improvements on the Uber platform.

Own operational and financial performance metrics, conducting deep analysis to drive business decisions.

Identify root causes of challenges affecting driver and fleet supply and lead cross-functional problem-solving initiatives.

Optimize core processes and ensure effective implementation across the UAE market.

Advocate for product improvements and new features by collaborating with regional and global product teams.

Build and maintain strong partnerships with local, regional (EMEA), and global teams across multiple functions.

Maintain a driver- and fleet-centric approach in all strategies and initiatives.

Manage, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and growth.
Qualifications:

Minimum 9 years of professional experience with significant exposure to operations, supply chain, or partner management.

Proven experience in fleet management operations, ideally within the UAE.

Demonstrated success in developing and executing supply acquisition and onboarding strategies for contractors and businesses.

Strong data-driven decision-making skills with advanced analytical capabilities.

Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex strategic issues.

Excellent communication skills in English and Arabic, with experience presenting data and strategies to diverse audiences including executives.

Strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and collaborative relationships.

At least 3 years of direct people management experience, preferably in fast-paced or high-growth environments.

Proven leadership with ability to deliver under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
