Charterhouse is working with a prominent global brand to recruit a Financial Controller at the senior manager level for its regional head office in Dubai. This is a high-impact, strategic role supporting financial planning, business analysis, and commercial decision-making for a diverse FMCG and retail portfolio across the GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) for product lines and market segments

• Deliver in-depth reporting and performance commentary to support strategic decisions

• Oversee commercial finance operations, focusing on cost optimization, pricing strategy, and supply chain efficiency

• Analyze distribution models and revenue streams to support business development initiatives

• Drive budget preparation, forecast modeling, and variance analysis

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, sales, and supply chain

• Produce high-quality reports and dashboards using advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques

• Ensure financial control policies are adhered to and contribute to continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Qualifications: ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent professional certification

• Experience: 8–10 years post-qualification experience in financial control and FP&A within large-scale, multi-market organizations

• Strong background in FMCG, retail, or supply chain-driven sectors

• In-depth understanding of UAE and GCC markets

• Exceptional Excel and financial modeling skills; ERP experience preferred

• Proven ability to work in matrixed and cross-functional environments

• Strong commercial acumen and analytical thinking

• Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced business environments
