Weatherford is hiring a Field Engineer II – Liner Hanger to execute technical field operations, particularly liner hanger and cementing jobs. This role involves job planning, client interfacing, troubleshooting, and guiding junior engineers. Ideal candidates will have 4–10 years of experience in the oil & gas sector, with strong mechanical and analytical skills. The engineer will also contribute to service improvements and ensure high service quality and safety compliance at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

• Run liner hanger and cementing jobs at client sites

• Participate in safety meetings and job hazard analyses

• Maintain work areas and equipment in safe, presentable condition

• Recommend services and technical solutions based on data analysis

• Execute job planning, preparation, mobilization, and report submission

• Be available on 24-hour call for client needs

• Test, operate, and maintain tools per guidelines

• Build strong client relationships and deliver superior service quality

• Manage on-site inventory and supplies

• Contribute to or lead failure investigations and RCA reports

• Mentor junior field staff and act as a technical advisor (for senior levels)

• Perform engineering checks and install complex equipment (for experienced roles)

Skills Required:

• Knowledge of Mechanics, Electronics, Hydraulics, and Pneumatics

• Understanding of Basic Physics, Chemistry, and Computer fundamentals

Qualifications:

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent

• 4 – 10 years of relevant experience in liner hanger operations within Oil & Gas
