Job Overview:
The school is seeking a qualified Secondary English Teacher to join in January 2026. The role involves planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, and fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment. Teachers are expected to uphold high standards, support curriculum development, and contribute to the broader school community.
Key Responsibilities

Set high expectations to inspire, motivate, and challenge pupils.

Establish a safe, stimulating, and respectful classroom environment.

Plan and teach well-structured lessons tailored to students’ needs and learning styles.

Deliver curriculum effectively while promoting literacy, language skills, and love of learning.

Assess, record, and report on student progress and provide constructive feedback.

Manage classroom behavior and ensure adherence to school policies.

Contribute to curriculum development and departmental initiatives.

Participate in after-school activities, school events, and professional development opportunities.

Communicate openly and professionally with parents regarding student progress.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in English or relevant field.

Minimum 2 years of school-based teaching experience.

Strong knowledge and experience with international/American curricula.

Excellent English communication skills (spoken and written).

Classroom and behavior management expertise.

Collaborative team-player with interpersonal, organizational, and emotional intelligence skills.

Experience with online and classroom teaching is a plus.

Flexible, creative, and internationally minded.
