GE Vernova is seeking a highly motivated Early Career Trainee to support the development of advanced dashboards enhancing Operational Technology (OT) visibility across power systems. This full-time role offers hands-on experience in energy systems, data analytics, and real-time control operations, making it ideal for recent graduates or early career professionals eager to build expertise in OT data and energy management.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with senior engineers to understand OT visibility requirements and translate them into dashboards and data models.

Extract, clean, and analyze data from EMS, SCADA, and other OT databases.

Develop interactive, user-friendly dashboards using tools such as Explore BI, Grafana, Apache Superset, or custom web frameworks.

Support data validation, consistency checks, and document data pipelines.

Prepare reports and visual summaries for internal stakeholders and utility clients.

Participate in team workshops and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.

Basic understanding of electrical grid operations, SCADA, or EMS concepts (coursework or project experience acceptable).

Strong analytical skills and foundational knowledge in data processing and visualization.

Hands-on experience with at least one data tool such as Explore BI, Apache Superset, or Python.

Excellent communication, teamwork skills, and eagerness to learn OT systems.
