Role Overview
As a Demand Planner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient forecasting, inventory management, and demand planning processes. You will analyze market trends, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and optimize supply chain operations to drive business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts based on market trends, sales data, and business objectives.
- Utilize forecasting models to optimize stock levels and minimize overstock or shortages.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to align demand plans with business goals.
- Monitor demand and supply planning KPIs, identifying potential gaps and proposing solutions.
- Manage the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process to ensure alignment across departments.
- Identify opportunities for demand optimization, including pricing strategies and stock reallocation.
- Ensure supply planning aligns with business objectives and inventory optimization goals.
- Provide data-driven insights for decision-making, using statistical analysis and demand forecasting techniques.
- Address supply constraints and proactively communicate potential issues.
What You Need to Succeed
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in demand planning, preferably in the beauty industry handling large SKU portfolios.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Strong data analysis and forecasting skills with experience in statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in demand planning software and tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
