Position Title: Database Administrator
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: Up to 10,000 AED per month (all-inclusive, based on experience and qualifications)

About the Client:

A large multinational company in Abu Dhabi, specializing in defense, smart city solutions, and cybersecurity engineering services.

Job Description:

• Tune database systems and troubleshoot errors to ensure optimal performance.

• Monitor database security, backup, and performance during installation, patching, upgrading, and troubleshooting of database infrastructure.

• Support database account management and conduct periodic user account reviews.

• Create database reports, visualizations, and dashboards to support decision-making.

Requirements:

• Experience: At least 5 years in database administration, IT, database architecture, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Linux, Unix, and Windows Server environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Database High Availability (HA) using SQL Server Failover Cluster and Availability Groups.

  • Skilled in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), database security hardening, and compliance with CIS (Center for Internet Security) benchmarks.
