Customs Co-worker – Dubai

Emirates Logistics LLC is seeking an entry-level Customs Co-worker to join their team in Dubai. This role involves handling import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, and supporting inbound and outbound operations. The position requires attention to detail, proficiency in MS Office and data entry, and knowledge of Dubai Trade. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and ready to grow within a dynamic logistics company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process DP World payments on the same day of BOE/ED date.

  • Download and merge inbound documents within 24 hours of BOE processing.

  • Download and merge outbound documents within 24 hours of receiving all documents.

  • File non-remittance claims within 2 days of receiving final SWB.

  • Create and organize folders for outbound files after ED processing.

  • Check and update COK status for inbound shipments.

  • Support inbound and outbound teams in achieving set KPIs.

  • Verify correctness of documents before processing.

  • Process inbound and outbound BOE accurately.

  • Update invoice and EDI data on EL master file; save files in the common folder.

  • Create and forward shipment documents from DCO within ATD + 2 days (escalate issues if needed).

  • Follow up on escalated documents and ensure BL for consumables is checked within 24 hours.

  • Ensure complete documentation is ready for handover.

  • Update BOE numbers and maintain EL master file based on arrival reports.

  • Update consumables tracker and check documents on the same day of notification.

  • For inbound shipments, ensure documents are checked within ATD + 2 days.

  • Process and share shipment information (Elux / MWPP) within 24 hours of arrival.

  • Perform other tasks assigned by the Department Head.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (minimum education level).

  • Entry-level work experience acceptable.

  • Good knowledge of computers and MS Excel.

  • Basic knowledge of Dubai Trade.

  • Previous experience using MS Office.

  • Fast and accurate data entry skills.

  • Strong English communication skills (written & spoken).

  • Alert, proactive, and detail-oriented.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Monthly Salary: AED 3,350/-

  • Annual company air ticket.
