The Content Sales & Strategic Partnership Senior Manager for CNN will play a key role in driving commercial partnerships across the Middle East and Africa (MEA).

As part of the CNN International Commercial team, the Sr Manager will be responsible for growing the commercial business portfolio, developing sales strategies, securing revenue opportunities, and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Sales Strategy Development: Tailor and implement comprehensive sales strategies for the MEA region, aligning with both short-term and long-term revenue goals.

• Sales Generation: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and networks to expand the client base.

• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior clients, stakeholders, and industry partners, ensuring a deep understanding of their needs.

• Pitching and Negotiation: Lead the pitching and negotiation process with clients, ensuring successful delivery of revenue targets.

• Collaboration: Work with internal teams (e.g., Advertising Sales, Legal, Finance) to align strategies and drive cohesive business initiatives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in media sales, with a focus on the Middle East and African markets.

• Proven Track Record: Strong success in achieving sales targets and building large commercial partnerships.

• Cultural Understanding: Deep understanding of cultural dynamics and business practices across MEA to engage effectively with diverse audiences.

• Communication Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

• Self-Management: Self-motivated, accountable, and adaptable to a dynamic environment.

• Language: Proficiency in Arabic is required. Additional European languages are a plus.
