Marriott International is seeking a Commis 2 to join the culinary team at Marriott Hotel Al Forsan, Abu Dhabi. The Commis 2 will prepare ingredients, cook food according to recipes and quality standards, maintain cleanliness, and support the kitchen team to deliver excellent food service. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety and hygiene standards, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare ingredients including portioning, chopping, washing, and peeling fresh produce.

Weigh, measure, mix, and cook food according to recipes, presentation, and quality standards.

Operate kitchen equipment such as ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers safely.

Monitor food quality and ensure proper food temperatures.

Set up and break down the workstation maintaining cleanliness and organization.

Wash and disinfect kitchen tools, equipment, and work areas regularly.

Report maintenance issues, accidents, or unsafe conditions to the manager promptly.

Follow company safety, security policies, and food handling procedures.

Maintain professional appearance and communication.

Support team efforts and foster positive working relationships.

Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors.
Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D).
-
At least 1 year of related culinary or kitchen experience.

No supervisory experience required.
-
No licenses or certifications required.
