Position: Commercial Manager – Infrastructure

Overview:

With over 60 years of success, we are now seeking a Commercial Manager – Infrastructure to join our high-performing Dubai team.
This is a key role where you will act as a strategic commercial partner to Project Directors and leadership across multiple GCC markets. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure commercial success across infrastructure projects by delivering financial insight, enhancing cost control, and optimizing profitability.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide expert commercial and financial guidance to business leaders and project directors across the Middle East.

Oversee cost control processes, billing systems, and invoicing workflows to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

Conduct cost analysis to enhance operational efficiency and identify savings opportunities.

Contribute to commercial strategy development and the achievement of business objectives.

Participate throughout the full project lifecycle—from inception to closeout—supporting project execution and financial health.

Ensure best practices in bid management and project execution, aligned with internal quality management systems (QMS).

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management across Business Units in UAE, Qatar, KSA, Kuwait, and other GCC markets.

Drive monthly revenue recognition processes and prepare reports for senior management.

Guide project directors on cost forecasting, resource planning, and working capital improvements.

Review and approve sub-consultant and overhead invoices, ensuring accuracy and alignment with project budgets.

Provide pricing support for lump sum and resource-based proposals.

Deliver internal training related to commercial finance processes and reporting tools.
Desired Candidate Profile:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related commercial discipline (required).

Chartered qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) is essential.

Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a commercial or financial management role within an international engineering or construction consultancy.

Proven experience in project-based financial reporting, forecasting, and strategic commercial planning.

Advanced skills in cost analysis, budget management, and ERP systems.

Exceptional communication and collaboration abilities, with experience supporting multi-disciplinary project teams across regions.

Willingness to travel across GCC countries for project support as needed.
