Drive Financial Excellence for a Global QSR Leader

Our client, an iconic international quick-service restaurant (QSR) brand, is seeking an accomplished Chief Accountant to oversee financial reporting, compliance, and process optimisation for its UAE operations. This role offers the opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership and influence strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Consolidation & Reporting – Update and consolidate financial data for assigned SBUs, review trial balances, investigate anomalies, prepare variance reports, and present monthly updates to the Financial Reporting Manager.

• Statutory Compliance & Audit – Prepare statutory schedules and disclosures, coordinate with auditors for interim and year-end audits, address queries, and implement management letter recommendations.

• GL & Bank Reconciliation – Review, reconcile, and maintain accuracy of GL accounts; perform monthly bank reconciliations; recommend adjustments and clean-up activities.

• Business Insights & Process Improvement – Summarise key transactions, validate financial insights for the Finance Head, and enhance reporting accuracy, detail, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Open to Arabic-speaking candidates, preferably aged 45 or below.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Chartered Chief Accountant certification required.

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role within QSR, F&B, or FMCG industries.

• Strong expertise in accounting standards, statutory compliance, internal controls, and governance.

• Proficient in ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.

Salary & Benefits

• Up to AED 20,000 per month (all-inclusive) + yearly bonus.
