Business Solutions Specialist (Revenue Integrity)

Job Overview

As a Business Solutions Specialist at Etihad Airways, you will play a critical role in ensuring the airline’s revenue-related processes are accurate, efficient, and compliant with both internal policies and external regulations. Your key responsibility will be to maximize revenue by minimizing discrepancies or errors that could lead to financial losses. You will collaborate closely with departments like Revenue Management (RM), Sales, and IT to streamline processes, reconcile data, and implement best practices for revenue assurance, all while ensuring a seamless and transparent customer experience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform business user acceptance testing of code releases related to existing and new systems. Document test case results and ensure compliance with acceptance criteria.

  • Document and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all Revenue Integrity (RI) solutions.

  • Monitor system health through control check reports and dashboards (daily/weekly/monthly). Take proactive actions to ensure optimal system performance.

  • Raise support trackers for issues identified in the RI systems, collaborating with system providers to resolve them during weekly support calls.

  • Develop and maintain business processes that identify and cancel PNRs for inventory violations and raise agent debit memos as per Etihad’s policies.

  • Analyze and address inventory violations to maintain a robust booking platform.

  • Investigate and resolve ADMs (Agency Debit Memos) and revenue recovery disputes, maintaining a customer-centric approach.

  • Analyze patterns of discrepancies and take corrective actions to prevent future errors.

  • Assist in fraud investigations, gathering evidence for further action as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Economics, or Business Administration, or equivalent academic qualification.

  • 2-3 years of experience in Revenue Integrity (preferred).

  • Strong investigation and analytical skills.

  • In-depth knowledge of Amadeus GDS (preferred).

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets.
