Job Title: Business Analyst 

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Business Analyst to join our dynamic product development team. In this role, you will lead the identification, analysis, and delivery of business initiatives by aligning technology solutions with organizational goals. Your responsibilities will span requirements gathering, process optimization, system analysis, and stakeholder collaboration, with a focus on agile methodologies and product innovation.

As a key liaison between business and technical teams, you will play a critical role in translating client needs into functional solutions, driving value across the product lifecycle, and supporting the creation of impactful software products.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements Gathering & Analysis:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and development teams to elicit, document, and prioritize requirements.

• Conduct workshops, interviews, and in-depth business process reviews.

Process & System Analysis:

• Analyze existing workflows and IT systems to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.

• Document current and future business/system/data flows to support transformation initiatives.

Data Analysis & Decision Support:

• Evaluate large datasets to uncover trends and insights for improved decision-making.

• Create actionable reports to support risk management, customer behavior insights, and financial forecasting.

System Design & Delivery:

• Collaborate with IT teams to define functional specifications and validate system designs.

• Support implementation, including feasibility analysis, documentation, and user training.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management:

• Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure proposed solutions align with compliance standards.

• Conduct risk assessments and propose strategies for mitigation.

Testing & UAT:

• Define test cases and collaborate with users for successful User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

• Ensure system performance and functionality meet business expectations.

Documentation & Reporting:

• Prepare comprehensive business documents, functional specs, and user manuals.

• Generate insightful reports and presentations for stakeholders.

Project Collaboration & Agile Delivery:

• Work closely with product teams to drive project goals using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Facilitate continuous improvement through feedback loops and system monitoring.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 3+ years of experience as a Software Business Analyst.

• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).

• Exceptional analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in UML, requirements analysis, and functional design.

• Strong stakeholder and project management skills.

• Ability to work with remote teams and manage client expectations effectively.

• Familiarity with financial planning, product management, and pricing strategies.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, MIS, or related fields.

• Agile certification (e.g., Scrum Alliance, SAFe) preferred.

• CBAP, CCBA, or similar business analysis certification is an advantage.
