Assistant Manager – Process Governance & Internal Control

GMG, a global well-being company with over 45 years of experience, is hiring an Assistant Manager – Process Governance & Internal Control for its Business Process Improvement (BPI) team in Dubai. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for candidates with strong experience in process optimization, compliance, internal controls, and risk management. The role supports the development and implementation of effective policies and control frameworks to drive operational efficiency and policy compliance across GMG’s diverse business portfolio, which includes retail, pharma, FMCG, and manufacturing sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs

  • Assist in drafting, reviewing, and enforcing policies aligned with regulatory and organizational standards

  • Support the design and monitoring of internal control frameworks to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity

  • Conduct internal assessments and audits, and help with audit documentation and resolution of findings

  • Deliver training sessions to promote process awareness and policy compliance across departments

  • Prepare reports for senior management on process performance, compliance, and control issues

Core Competencies & Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with ERP systems (SAP) and process mapping tools is an advantage

  • In-depth understanding of internal controls, compliance standards, and business process re-engineering

  • Hands-on experience in automation, RPA techniques, and process improvement within retail, pharma, or FMCG

  • Strong communication, documentation, and training capabilities

Educational & Professional Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field

  • Professional certifications preferred: CPA, CIA, CISA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt
