Assistant Front Desk Manager – Marriott Al Forsan

Marriott Al Forsan is seeking an Assistant Front Desk Manager to ensure efficient guest check-in/out procedures, supervise front desk operations, and maintain high service standards. This role requires strong leadership, customer service skills, and experience in front desk management within a luxury hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process guest check-ins, verify identity and payment, assign rooms, and issue keys.

  • Set up guest accounts based on specific requirements, including Marriott Rewards entries.

  • Ensure accurate room rates and handle billing and payment processes.

  • Handle daily reports, contingency lists, cashier closings, and balance receipts.

  • Provide property information and directions to guests, and follow up on special requests.

  • Process all payment types, vouchers, and charges; follow accounting and security protocols.

  • Notify Loss Prevention of any theft reports and ensure safety compliance.

Team Management:

  • Assist in training, evaluating, coaching, and motivating front desk staff.

  • Act as the first point of contact for team concerns and ensure a positive work environment.

  • Support team collaboration and address employee issues in line with company policy.

Guest Relations & Professionalism:

  • Greet guests with genuine appreciation and anticipate service needs.

  • Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.

  • Support individuals with disabilities and uphold confidentiality of guest information.

  • Adhere to company appearance and quality standards.

Job Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

  • Experience: At least 1 year of related front desk experience.

  • Supervisory Experience: Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role.

  • Must be able to stand, walk, lift or carry up to 10 lbs, and use POS/computer systems effectively.
