Marriott Al Forsan is seeking an Assistant Front Desk Manager to ensure efficient guest check-in/out procedures, supervise front desk operations, and maintain high service standards. This role requires strong leadership, customer service skills, and experience in front desk management within a luxury hospitality environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Process guest check-ins, verify identity and payment, assign rooms, and issue keys.

Set up guest accounts based on specific requirements, including Marriott Rewards entries.

Ensure accurate room rates and handle billing and payment processes.

Handle daily reports, contingency lists, cashier closings, and balance receipts.

Provide property information and directions to guests, and follow up on special requests.

Process all payment types, vouchers, and charges; follow accounting and security protocols.

Notify Loss Prevention of any theft reports and ensure safety compliance.
Team Management:

Assist in training, evaluating, coaching, and motivating front desk staff.

Act as the first point of contact for team concerns and ensure a positive work environment.

Support team collaboration and address employee issues in line with company policy.
Guest Relations & Professionalism:

Greet guests with genuine appreciation and anticipate service needs.

Communicate clearly and professionally both verbally and in writing.

Support individuals with disabilities and uphold confidentiality of guest information.

Adhere to company appearance and quality standards.
Job Requirements:

Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Experience: At least 1 year of related front desk experience.

Supervisory Experience: Minimum 1 year in a supervisory role.

Must be able to stand, walk, lift or carry up to 10 lbs, and use POS/computer systems effectively.
