Job Overview:
The Agronomist will manage and optimize crop production in controlled environment agriculture (CEA) systems, ensuring maximum yield and quality. This role requires expertise in plant science, Arabic language proficiency for team coordination, and a passion for sustainable agriculture.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of crop production within high-tech farming systems.

• Develop and implement crop plans, nutrient schedules, and integrated pest management (IPM) strategies.

• Monitor plant health, climate, lighting, and irrigation; adjust protocols as needed.

• Analyze data to identify trends and solve complex horticultural challenges.

• Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and data analysts.

• Train and guide farm operators on best practices.

• Maintain detailed records and prepare performance reports.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Agronomy, Horticulture, Plant Science, or a related field.

• 5+ years of practical agronomy experience, preferably in high-tech environments (greenhouses, vertical farms, hydroponics/aquaponics).

• Fluent in Arabic and strong English communication skills.

• Solid understanding of plant physiology, nutrition, and pathology.

• Proactive problem-solver with experience in data-driven decision-making.
