ALSUWEIDI Engineering Consultants is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and manage construction projects in Abu Dhabi. The role demands overseeing all project phases, from planning to execution, while ensuring timely delivery within budget, compliance with quality standards, and strong communication with stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Scheduling: Develop and maintain schedules, timelines, and milestones while aligning with architects and engineers.

• Budget Management: Monitor expenditures, track costs with the finance team, and provide financial reports and forecasts.

• Contract Administration: Review, negotiate, and manage contracts and change orders.

• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Enforce quality standards, conduct inspections, and ensure compliance with codes and environmental sustainability goals.

• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks with appropriate contingency planning.

• Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary contact, coordinate with government bodies (e.g., Abu Dhabi Municipality), and ensure timely documentation and reporting.

• Health & Safety: Enforce site safety protocols in collaboration with safety officers.

• Problem Resolution: Address project challenges, resolve conflicts, and ensure progress continuity.

• Client Management: Build strong client relationships and provide regular project updates.

• Team Leadership: Guide the supervision team, manage attendance and performance, and support professional development.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture; PMP/IPMA certification required.

• Experience: Minimum 15 years in construction supervision; at least 7 years in a consultancy project management role.

• Skills:

  • Proficiency in project and contract management, cost control, planning, risk management

  • Excellent English and Arabic communication skills

  • Strong command of ACONEX or similar document management systems

  • Knowledge of local/federal regulations and civil engineering codes

  • Working knowledge of project management software and infrastructure works

  • Strong ethical standards and confidentiality handling
