Position Overview:
Al-Futtaim Motors – Toyota is seeking an experienced Workshop Planner to join their dynamic team in Ajman. As a Workshop Planner, you will play a pivotal role in the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring smooth job allocation, technician efficiency, and on-time delivery of customer vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Job Allocation: Assign jobs to technicians based on skillset and job complexity to optimize performance.

• Monitor Workflow: Regularly update and track the Technician Planning and Job Progress Control Boards.

• Performance Tracking: Ensure technician efficiency and utilization meet workshop targets.

• Fix It Right (FIR): Ensure strict adherence to FIR processes and timely job closures.

• Time Management: Maintain accurate job time clocking and flag delays or issues.

• Customer Delivery: Coordinate with Service Advisors to guarantee on-time vehicle delivery and updates.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience: 2–3 years of experience as a Workshop Planner or Controller in an automotive dealership.

• Technical Knowledge: Ability to match job requirements with technician skills and write detailed technical reports.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Education: Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering.

• Bonus: UAE Driving License is preferred but not mandatory.

Team & Culture:

You will work under the Aftersales Manager, collaborating closely with Technicians and Service Advisors. The role demands consistent communication across departments, with a direct influence on workshop efficiency and customer satisfaction.
