✅ Job Overview:

We are looking for a Water Treatment Plant Engineer to oversee the design, optimization, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment facilities in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in treatment processes, regulatory compliance, and sustainable plant operation. This is a full-time role offering the opportunity to contribute to critical infrastructure and environmental sustainability projects.

✅ Key Responsibilities:

🌊 Design & Process Optimization

• Design and improve systems for filtration, chemical dosing, clarification, disinfection, and sludge management

• Conduct technical assessments, develop specifications, and review P&IDs and engineering drawings

• Analyze water quality reports and recommend process adjustments to maintain efficiency and compliance

⚙️ Operations & Engineering Support

• Provide ongoing engineering support to operation and maintenance teams

• Oversee plant upgrades, equipment installation, and vendor/contractor management

• Lead or assist in planning and executing CAPEX and OPEX projects related to the treatment plant

📊 Compliance & Efficiency

• Ensure compliance with local and international environmental and safety standards (e.g., WHO, EPA, Dubai Municipality)

• Optimize chemical and energy usage to enhance operational efficiency and sustainability

• Develop SOPs, maintenance manuals, and safety documentation for consistent plant operation

✅ Candidate Requirements:

✔️ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
✔️ 5–10 years of experience in water/wastewater treatment engineering
✔️ Solid understanding of water treatment technologies, hydraulics, and chemical processes
✔️ Familiarity with SCADA systems, PLC automation, and plant instrumentation
✔️ Skilled in engineering tools like AutoCAD, WaterCAD, or equivalent
✔️ Strong interpersonal and project management abilities
✔️ Excellent command of English (Arabic is a plus)

✅ Preferred Certifications (Not Mandatory):

🏅 Certified Water Treatment Operator (Grade II/III/IV)
🏅 PMP, Six Sigma, or Lean certification
🏅 OSHA or other relevant safety training
