Overview:
Como Luxury Fabrics is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Caretaker to manage our high-end fabric goods warehouse. This hands-on role involves overseeing the receiving, storage, dispatching, and cutting of fabric materials. The ideal candidate should be familiar with barcode inventory systems, Microsoft Excel, and have a proactive attitude toward warehouse upkeep and operational accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the receiving and dispatching of fabric materials with proper documentation.

• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and security of the warehouse.

• Accurately track stock levels using barcode scanners and Excel spreadsheets.

• Apply barcode tags and scan fabric rolls for efficient inventory management.

• Cut fabric materials as required, ensuring precision and quality (training available).

• Organize inventory to ensure space efficiency and easy retrieval.

• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods.

• Communicate with internal teams, delivery drivers, and couriers.

• Maintain daily inventory logs and prepare weekly reports using Excel.

• Ensure warehouse safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a warehouse or storekeeping environment, preferably with fabric or textile goods.

• Experience with barcode systems and Microsoft Excel.

• Basic fabric cutting experience preferred (training can be provided).

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Physically capable of handling light to moderate lifting and warehouse duties.
