Job Title: Warehouse Associate & Inventory Control Specialist
Job Description:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate & Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, order fulfillment, warehouse organization, and quality control. The ideal candidate will also collaborate with internal teams to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Inventory Management:

Receive, inspect, and organize incoming goods to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile any discrepancies promptly.

Maintain accurate stock records and report any shortages or damages to the Warehouse Supervisor.
Order Fulfillment:

Pick, pack, and prepare orders accurately and efficiently according to customer specifications.

Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and documentation for outgoing shipments.

Collaborate with the logistics team to schedule and coordinate deliveries.
Warehouse Organization:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.

Optimize space utilization and implement effective storage methods.

Use appropriate equipment and techniques to arrange and stack products.
Quality Control:

Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure they meet established standards.

Report and resolve any product defects or packaging issues promptly.

Follow procedures for handling and disposing of damaged or defective items.
Equipment Operation:

Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions or damage.

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents.
Collaboration & Communication:

Work closely with team members and supervisors to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Communicate effectively with internal departments like sales and customer service to address inquiries and resolve issues.

Offer feedback and suggestions to improve warehouse processes and efficiency.
Skills Required:

High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in warehouse operations are a plus.

Proven experience in warehouse or distribution center roles.

Familiarity with inventory management systems and basic computer skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and orders.

Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment.
