Al Bandar Rotana & Al Bandar Arjaan by Rotana is seeking dynamic, self-motivated food & beverage professionals to join their team as Waiter/Waitress. This full-time, on-site position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your hospitality career in a luxurious hotel environment. As a Waiter/Waitress, you will play a vital role in delivering an exceptional dining experience to guests, ensuring that every meal is memorable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary tasks to service food and beverage according to the hotel’s performance standards.

  • Greet and seat customers, providing them with professional, discreet, and personalized service.

  • Acquire in-depth knowledge of the food and beverage menu to assist and advise guests.

  • Ensure the quality of food and beverage served meets hotel standards.

  • Practice excellent customer relations and attend to customer complaints or queries.

  • Maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the outlet and service equipment.

  • Prepare for service by setting up the restaurant, ensuring all mis-en-place is ready.

  • Aim for minimum wastage, breakage, and spoilage during service.

  • Actively use up-selling techniques to exceed guest expectations and increase revenue.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Ideally, a diploma/degree in hospitality or vocational training in food & beverage.

  • Experience: Previous experience as a Waiter/Waitress in a high-volume restaurant or hotel.

  • Language Skills: A good command of English (additional language skills are a plus).

  • Strong guest service and interpersonal skills.

  • The ability to adapt, work well under pressure, and pay attention to detail.
