Sofitel Dubai The Obelisk, the largest Sofitel property in the Middle East, is hiring a Waiter for Brasserie Boulud on a temporary basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a world-renowned hospitality brand that prides itself on blending French elegance with the vibrant spirit of Dubai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering prompt, courteous food and beverage service while maintaining the standards and ambiance of a high-end French brasserie. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a memorable dining experience, with opportunities to grow within the prestigious ACCOR Hotels group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and serve guests in a professional, attentive, and courteous manner

• Present and explain menu items and specials, including children’s options when applicable

• Take and process orders accurately using POS systems

• Serve and clear food and beverage items efficiently

• Prepare tables with appropriate settings and maintain cleanliness

• Carry out opening and closing side duties per standard operating procedures

• Handle guest feedback and escalate issues to management if necessary

• Refill condiments and polish cutlery as part of pre- and post-service duties

• Maintain hygiene, safety, and cleanliness of the restaurant and workstation

• Collaborate with other F&B outlets during peak service periods

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of F&B serving experience in a high-end restaurant or hotel

• Secondary education or equivalent

• Basic F&B product knowledge and cash handling skills

• Proficiency in English (oral and written); additional languages are a plus

• Well-groomed with excellent customer service and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and in a team environment
